About
A Lifetime of Service to papillion
To me, Papillion is more than my hometown. In fact, it has shaped every part of my life. Growing up in Papillion instilled a deep pride in the place I call home. And since then, I’ve devoted my entire career to serving the community so it can continue to thrive.
I’ve had the opportunity to serve Papillion in ways that have given me a deep understanding of how this city works and why it works so well. I spent nearly 25 years on the Planning Commission, helping guide long-term decisions about growth, land use, and neighborhood protection. I now serve on the City Council, where I focus on city services and fiscal stewardship that positively affect residents every day. As an educator in Papillion-La Vista Community Schools, I stay closely connected to families and to the next generation who will carry this community forward.
I’m running for mayor to continue that work with care and consistency. I bring experience, institutional knowledge, and a deep respect for the traditions that have made Papillion strong. My goal is to help ensure the city continues to grow thoughtfully, serve residents well, and remain a place people are proud to call home.
APPROACH
What Guides My Leadership
The values and experience I bring to every decision, shaped by a lifetime in Papillion.
Growing Responsibly
Papillion’s growth brings opportunity along with responsibility. My experience on the Planning Commission and City Council has taught me how important timing, infrastructure, and long-term planning are to a well-run city. I believe growth should be guided carefully so neighborhoods are protected, services keep pace, and development reflects the priorities of the community.
Preserving Legacy
Papillion is defined by its heart: our families, our strong sense of community, and the pride we have for the generations who built this city. I care deeply about preserving our traditions while planning thoughtfully for the future. That means balancing growth so Papillion remains livable for young families, longtime residents, and retirees as our city continues to grow.
Remaining Local & Nonpartisan
City government works best when it stays focused on the community it serves. I approach leadership without partisan labels, keeping my attention on city services, fiscal responsibility, and collaboration. My goal is to lead with a pragmatic form of governance that puts Papillion first and earns your trust through hard work.
